Chapter Four(21)

Fractured images appeared in the darkness, and Cecy saw the veil of dark unfurl before her eyes. And events that were unreal, to Cecy, and blinking with rays of static like an old television, erupted into being where the darkness had been, as suddenly as a firework in the night sky, but far stranger, because of the contents. 
An alleyway with the tall sidewalls of dilapidated buildings, flags sticking out of dull-colored bricks, old posters plastering the uneven surface and wild graffiti in a language Cecy could not understand, silent and haunting in the growing dusk.
