When she noticed this, she got up to examine her surroundings. The Arcaea that had caged her up before were nowhere to be seen. ‘Where are they?’ she thought for a moment, before discarding the question. The pieces of glass probably weren’t anywhere near her, so she believed it wouldn’t be of any use to think about it. She looked at the world around her. It wasn’t bright and sunny anymore; it was cloudy. Instead of tall structures and buildings, she saw nothing but trees stretching out into the sky. And those shards…
Not only did she not find her collection, she didn’t find anything of the sort. She couldn’t find a single piece.
Just where was she? That was the question she really needed to answer.
As she grew more and more aware of her surroundings, she took note of some things. She was wearing different clothes. A long, white dress with short sleeves, which seemed to be closer to a murky gray due to it being soaked and covered in mud. Its skirt had a floral pattern etched into it with light pink thread. She had white, cotton socks and flats, also white and with a red rim. She also noticed she was wearing a red beret; it reminded her of the hat she used to wear at the beginning of her journey, the one she wore when she had first stepped into this world, the one she wore when each shard she met filled her with joy and excitement…
