1.The meaning of life. So, for the next year, he told me things began to change after that, and he asked me if I was able to explain what life is. I felt like I was really moving. So, for about three months I was doing all the programming. It was a really short three month session. So, I was getting about 15 minutes to write a little script that I could use to tell the story of life on Earth. So, for about eight weeks, I was going to go back to my office and do about 10, 15 minutes of programming each day. So, I had about 30 minutes of programming a day. And, at the end, I was so done. After that, I was doing what others call training. If I said, 'Here's my way, don't do what I say,' I would be doing 30,40 or 60 minutes of training every day. I didn't say, 'Look, don't say that to anyone. You're crazy, right?' I said, 'OK. I'm going to do this exercise that I was taught to train.' And then I would go, all out and do it to 30 minutes every morning. And it would be a good training experience for me and for others in the community too. That's when I got my hands on the first program. It's called "The Science of Being," where you can take a computer program that says the same thing over and over again, and then it goes into a computer to answer your questions. I knew how to do it in school. That's the most incredible thing I've ever done. It's like a dream. It's an incredible job. My father asked me when I started the science program. I said five years ago, and I'm still here today. I thought, 'I never would've done it without his help.' I wanted to give back to this community. I didn't care if they worked too hard to make the world a better place. I saw the big picture, and that's how I got my science degree and my degree in business. Before I could get my degree I was very lucky. I got a job. I had a job where I could apply to go in the business and help develop and help them create the company. And I had no idea that I was going to do that. What that led to was the need for a group of people who would help. They needed to build and manage and give back and to provide support. They needed to do this for all the students and community at large involved to have a chance to apply for their degree and to get a job and to build this family and to have someone who really was willing to help make this world a better place. Now, a year later, I'm not just a science instructor anymore. I'll be a teaching adviser and also now a technical student and a professor. And now I'm coming from Stanford, which is just the most amazing community that I could ever imagine, and I want to say thanks to all the people that volunteered for this program, and I'm excited to show them more how I can contribute. So, if you know someone who has already done it and you love the idea, please give thanks and show them your work and say thank you. The rest is up to you. Let them know how it's been, and how it'll be. I will not be the only person who is giving back and helping kids when they're young, but I'll know if they want to get the chance to do something big and have the kind of support I'm seeing now. I feel like I have this tremendous community that is coming together to do what's important, if at all. Let's try to make it better for them.
