【Arcaea】这个我们从未活过的世界(2)(7)
Yet as she walked toward the maze, she noticed something. Surrounding the structure that lived off of all sorts of terrible recollections, perhaps even the heart of this despicable world, was light. A sea of bright, glittering, good memories surrounded the place. A few even joined the girl as she walked closer and closer towards the maze, though many of them seemed to be avoiding her. And so, seeing the beauty of this world, she stopped.
‘There is nothing but misery in this world,’ she told herself. ‘This place is built on evil,’ she told herself. But watching the bright haze that surrounded the place, she began to wonder if those words were really true. A tall shadow amongst a sea of light, she began to look around, examining her surroundings. A memory of a family playing together in the park came into view. She waited for something bad to happen, but nothing like that did. They just enjoyed their time there, having fun, running around and laughing together.
More and more good memories were seen. An audience clapping at the end of a play, the actors smiling as they were being praised. Children betting on which raindrop would hit the windowsill first, happy when the one they chose wins the race. Lovers sharing a kiss, embracing each other during the night, talking to each other. So many happy recollections, so many positive emotions. As she saw them, she began to wonder.
