They flinched at the casual command given by one who was so much their junior; one who was Baggybum’s son, Stoick’s nephew and Gobber’s pupil, and who should be showing them considerably more respect, particularly since the reversal of fortune on both sides. Hiccup could not really look at the hurt expression on their faces and the sad sinking of their shoulders.
