Chapter 8 The Melting Person (I)(12)
The body in the woven bag was curled up, head down and feet up. A pair of bare feet were at the mouth of the bag, buttered and crumpled.
Master looked over and said, “Well, it’s really waxed. Pull it out and have a look.”
Louis, an intern forensic doctor from the municipal bureau and I, we pulled the corpse out of the woven bag. The rigor mortis of the corpse was completely relieved. We spread the corpse flat on the dissecting table.
The thighs and above of the corpse were wrapped in a sealed, sleeve-shaped plastic film with two layers. Plastic film sleeve is only 50 cm in diameter, tightly wrapped on the corpse, we dare not cut the plastic film at will, only removed the plastic film from the bottom to the top. Originally thought it would be difficult, but I didn’t expect we peel off the plastic film with a gentle pull. I didn’t expect it to be so easy, because I put forth my strength, the oily stuff sticking to the plastic film was thrown away. The policeman, who were not wearing protective suits, were shocked and checked their clothes to see if they were contaminated.
