Chapter 1 The First Anatomy(4)
Steven took the phone “What’s the situation, any clues?”
Later I knew that the so-called ‘any clues’ is that whether the suspect is certain. If the suspect confirms, there is little pressure on forensic doctors, some fundamental work is Okay. Otherwise, forensic need to analyze and ratiocinate a lot of things. Crime scene investigation and autopsy work will double the time.
“Mass fight, we’ve seized several, the rest are still chasing, they can’t run away.”
“OK, I am on my way.” Steven took a deep breath.
We got on a police car which is marked with “Crime Scene Investigation”. With the police siren sounded all the way, a burst of stimulus surged into my heart without rhyme or reason.
But the scene was quiet, much calmer than we thought.
The cordon randomly encircled a quadrangle along street, and the hustle and bustle of bystanders jostled with each other. Viewed from afar, there was nothing at the center of cordon, we did not know what the crowds were looking at. Only when we got closer did we saw a pool of blood on the surrounded ground. Around the pool, we could see a few strips of dripping bloodstains and a spot of projected bloodstains. Steven took the forensic investigation kits and collected blood sample respectively from the blood pool, the dripping bloodstains and the projected bloodstains for purpose of DNA tests. This was very advanced. At that time, DNA test was just beginning to be used and forensic experts used the original electrophoresis with complex procedure, generally we did not use this kind of high technology, especially in cases which the suspect has been identified.
