Once when someone asked who is the best chess player ever, he rattled off, “Modesty is a kind of virtue, but I might be considered stupid if I don’t tell the truth. That man is me—Bobby Fischer.” Fischer’s style, which is very offensive and unpredictable, bewildered his opponents, made him intractable to them and no one successfully analyzed his game. On the other hand, his emotionalization had already been apparent then. As his skills never withered away, he won 20 times in a row against the first-rate chess masters. The next step is to challenge the world champion, Russian chess player Boris Spassky.
