Despite of the fact that Regina latched on two academic heavyweights in succession: a German biophysicist as her husband and a Hungarian physicist as her lover, she had been in financial straits with her two children and a person of no fixed abode after arriving in America. Having changed a dozen of jobs and residences, it is the 10th time for herself and her two child and they finally settled in Brooklyn when Bobby was half a year old. Considering that her diploma in Moscow was by no means accepted here, she had no other choice but study for a master’s degree in health care and engaged in that kind of job after graduation.
