“啊，”亚瑟先生果然听见了，“因为我梦见了一个许久不见的人，现在想去看看他。”
听见他这番话，我内心顿时生出一种荒唐的不真实感。
“打扰一下，”我颤抖着声音，问道，“请问您这位故人，叫什么名字呢？”
这时，亚瑟先生的电话铃声突然响起。我听到了他的铃声，是那首《My Prayer》，和阿尔弗雷德的电话铃声一模一样。
那个男声唱道：
“God will you keep her safe from the thunderstorm
When the day s cold will you keep her warm
When the darkness falls will you please shine her the way
God will you let her know that I love her so
When theres no one there that she s not alone
Just close her eyes and let her know
My heart is beating with hers.”
亚瑟先生挂断了电话，对我说：
“他叫阿尔弗雷德，是我的爱人。”
