Three hours, Ajax had been released early as he hadn’t actually thrown the punch, but there’d been two calls made, one to Signora’s parents and one to Scaramouche’s, not to mention a complete chewing out from the head himself for fighting on school grounds. The two young men were finally allowed to walk from the office, Ajax having waited for his friend. Although told to go to class, each silently made their way to the school parking lot with their heads down. Minutes passed as they slowly trudged along, hands in pockets through the silent halls.
