He was expecting, for the most beautiful music in the world.
He was imagining, that from the sea on the other side of the world, comes a white sailboat, which, slightly jiggling, was heavy with the treasure of the world. Under that sea buried an ancient relic, that preserved the old appearance of the world at its immemorial age.
He was waiting for his True Heart.
He was doubting whether his headphone was broken. Until then he had heard nothing but silence.
He was waiting.

And waiting.
And waiting.
For the sound of silence.
Countless time elapsed, and another successor mounted onto the summit.
Snowflakes were whirling around her, and aurora was shining above her.
She saw a corpse sat in the center of the summit, and covered with thin snow. His face under the hood had turned into a blur.
She could do nothing, but stand aside as a mark of the highest respect to the predecessor, her throat stuck with a sob.
In his backpack player she found a disc almost broken, and she inserted into her own, put on her headphone, and sat next to the predecessor.
