小幽灵几乎没有思考就将答案脱口而出：“Nothing... My name is Napstablook.The Lady You're asking about is Toriel, a kind and honorable lady who often helps the monsters in the ruins.（没什么，我叫 Napstablook。你问的那位女士是Toriel，一位善良可敬的女士，她经常帮助遗迹里的怪物。）”
谈到这里，它的眼神黯淡了一下。
“She lost a child... A human child, and it hit her hard.（她失去了一个孩子..一个人类孩子，那对她造成了沉重的打击。）”
我知道戳到人家痛点了，赶紧起身，向小幽灵告别。

“What？（什么？）”我停下了脚步，静候小幽灵的提问。
“Chara...When will you be able to laugh freely?（Chara...你什么时候能够放开自如地笑笑呢？）”
“Maybe after leaving the ruins，Maybe out of the ground, maybe never.（也许离开遗迹之后，也许走出地底之后，也许永远不会。）
透过小幽灵的眼睛，我看到了我自己。
脸颊被赋予了苍白的底色，两个腮红不合适地分别挂在两旁，棕色的眸子满是忧郁，能溺死人。
我的脸，也同样平静到任何事物都不会在其中掀起丝毫的波纹。
“Napstablook, Mom wanted me to do this, and she said she loved it, and it was my way of remembering her.（ Napstablook，妈妈希望我这么干，她说，她很喜欢，这是我对她的怀缅。）”
