Chapter Seven(2)
Cecilia’s view slows down, and she can hear Lydia speaking.
‘———Most likely you will end up with us,’ she said, and added patiently, ‘Cecy there’s something sticking on your face left of your lips.’
‘What do you mean?’ Cecy asked, swallowing down the bite and wishing for a napkin, which automatically appeared out of thin air. She grabbed it and began to dab at her mouth. ‘I thought you had left me to leave on a quest, but apparently it seems that it is not so. Since I caught you with another student,’ She stressed the word ‘student’. ‘And you don’t seem to be on no quest.’
‘There’s something complicated with this,’ Lydia waved a hand vaguely like she was trying to chase away a fly. ‘You accepted the new environment quick enough I see, Will told you about this place eh? Or did you just stop thinking and trying to believe?’
‘You are changing the subject.’ Cecy pressed. ‘Though I am sure you must be more inclined to teach a boy that’s good-looking than a girl who’s not, still——’
