Third Impact had put an end to the eternal sultry weather. After fifteen years of merciless heat and the incessant cries of the cicadas, snow had returned to Japan. So had the golden autumnal foliage and the pink blossoms of the cherry trees. The seasons had resumed their dance, one after the other. Following the world's resurrection, Mother Nature's own wheel of death and rebirth had been restored.
