She finished her sip then responded."You've got me beat tonight hun, I'm getting a bit jealous," she smiled. "But...you're totally right." It was now her turn to rub him, "now we go our way." Light began to fill the room as an overhead cloud continued on its way. She had not realized the light had faded, but she was grateful she could make out every feature on her husband's face. Her wedding ring still adorned her finger, a ring which represented her immutable bond to Shinji. With him all the world's problems were a river flowing downstream.

She gazed out the window and he joined her in observation. There was not a cloud in sight. Every star in magnificent glow. Sleep represented another distraction. Tonight, they would share one being. Sleep was not welcome tonight.
明日香凝望着窗外，真嗣和她一起看着。夜空万里无云。群星绚丽闪耀。和衣而眠可是莫大的罪过。今晚，他们会彼此交融。今晚，一定是个不眠之夜。
