（英文连载）Ballex：巨人国的故事-序(2)

There was a road not far from him, so he walked along it. The road was extremely wide as if there were no end. Curious and surprised, he went on. A long time later, a huge bridge appeared. He thought there would be other balls living on the island! So, he quickly crossed the bridge and saw a huge gate in front of him and there were two guards at the gate.

"Oh! I haven't seen anyone coming here for years." one of the guards said. 
"Where did you come from?" the other guard said. 
"From Spheria, "answered Charles, "I was sailing on the sea when a storm struck me, then I had to look for somewhere to stay."
Then the guards let him in, what he saw was spectacular: A lot of houses, neat paths, and balls wandering happily, who were much taller than him!
