The Skyline Chapter Two(Part 1)(5)

I didn’t move. After some awkward seconds staring at each other, she finally(or I guess) know why I didn’t move. She smiled embarrassingly.
“If you don’t mind… or you can take your spaceship,” she explained.

“Umm… I can take mine,” I answered, embarrassed too.
She knocked on the controls and both wind shields lowered and were locked to the metallic body of the spaceship. 
“Well… wanna have a competition?” She asked mockingly with excitement.
“I will try my best to keep up hahah”
“Then watch my tail fire!” She replied competitively, swiped her hand in midair.
I guess it her control system, although that I cannot see it. The ground disappeared and our spaceships submerged underground. 
“Ready?” She called from the intercom.
