It can be viewed as Klein pointing out that this is not a two men operation and rather than Klein calling in favoring, already a big on by appealing to the Fool, Meonard should pony up some resources. The resources being works of time, Klein can be see as saying "yes, I talked to Dantes and know who is backing Leonard. I know your power set so don't try anything funny"
