Actually it doesn't say there was darkness. Only three are mentioned. It says, "in the fog, a thick and blurry tentacle wrapped around lightning bolts..." Then the flaming feather, then the giant hand wielding a sword. We haven't seen Evernight yet. Or we could even say, we might not even "see" her considering her ability is in concealment 😅.
