Gonna spitball a few theories out here.
So if all humanoid creatures were originally human we are left to wonder where they came from. I’m thinking that they originally came from another world, either our own or just a different one (but if it was ours than that could explain why the transmigrators came from our world to theirs). This could also explain some of the cultural references not caused by transmigrators like with the elves and chopsticks.
They could have left to escape some type of enemy or other threat that is now casing them through space hence the mysterious cosmic evil thing.
They escaped with the help of the original Creator (not Silver City’s) who than died either fighting said cosmic evil or in the process of creating the world.
I’ve already guessed the the original Creator was the og ruler of the gray fog and it’s purpose was to find/nurture a successor. The reason for transmigrators could be some rule that His successor needs be from His original world or has to not be from the world He created.
