它需要有足够多的生物，但这在深海是没有的，但同时它又需要有缺氧的环境，这种环境在浅海又是找不到的。
在陆地上发现的石油说明这里之前都是处于水下的陆地。
有煤炭但却没有石油，这可能说明这个世界缺乏地质构造活动，使得海岸线没有特别剧烈的移动。或者也许是某种存在以石油为食，或者甚至是某种克苏鲁怪物之类的存在把石油都吃光了。
另外，也有可能石油其实是存在的，但出于某种原因，它们的位置无法离地表太近，无法被他们目前的工业时代科技水平所开发。

Something must have happened for there are no more ruins of modern cities, right? It's not like we got to see Atlantis ruins. Geography might have changed a lot for all those years like there are godly beings out there popping out and doing high-level battles that equal to nuclear warfare. Moon colour is different? I guess this is had to do with mysticism, Mr Door hinted to Roselle that everything would make sense once He went to the moon. Roselle must have seen something up there, something that made Him realise that He is still on the same planet. Lots of possibilities. I like this novel even more!
