observation, I found that the Roman houses could be divided into two types, one was the farmhouse, while the other was the city house. The traditional Roman farmhouse is usually a small square courtyard surrounded by four walls, with houses built on all sides and roof tiles sloping from the head of the wall to the center, usually one story. The urban house is usually two to three stories. It consists of three main parts, namely the atrium, the main room and the colonnade. The atrium is the hall where guests are received, and people can enter the atrium from the street through the vestibule and front room, which usually has some artworks to symbolize that their family is rich. As I walked along, I suddenly stopped under a magnificent building, and the history book I was holding began to introduce me to the Pantheon in Rome. A strong religious atmosphere permeated the magnificent rotunda, in which the gods worshipped by the ancient Romans were worshipped. After visiting the Pantheon and walking along the street, I don't know how long I walked, I arrived at a large rectangular house wrapped by many huge Roman columns underneath, which is one of the most important administrative bodies of ancient Rome - the Senate. I stood in the doorway and observed the hundreds of people inside, dressed in knee-length, belted jackets with a wide purple stripe across the right shoulder of the jacket, and all wearing uniform maroon leather boots on their feet. I knew I couldn't stay here too long, so I went back out into the street and before I knew it I was walking to a market. I found this market selling not food but slaves. They were dark-skinned, with little white caps on their heads, indicating that they were prisoners of war; white powder on their legs, indicating that they were slaves waiting to be sold; and wooden tags around their necks with their ages, places of birth, skills and jerk names given to them by the slave owners. The place was full of horror, the stench of stench. I felt I couldn't stay too much longer, I wanted to get out of here right away. I jogged away, ran as if I had hit something and fainted.
