Going up to his daughter's room, he opened a drawer and took out his daughter's favorite toy. A supposedly magic lamp with a genie inside that could grant three wishes. Of course, Joseph never thought of it as true, he never thought anything of supernatural nature existed. He just wanted something of his daughter before he...left.
Walking into his room, Joseph sat down on his bed as he placed the magic lamp beside the bed on the bedside table.
He took off his shoes before laying against the pillows, placing one of the bullets into the pistol. Joseph took one last look at the magic lamp as tears began to drip down his cheeks. Taking the safety off, Joseph pressed the pistol against his temple.

Joseph said his last words.
"I-I love...sobs...I love you, Mary! Daddy loves you!"
