Jesus, Amon is terrifying. The fact that he can “parasitize” microbes is so fooking horrifying. That ability alone makes Amon nigh unkillable.... Sure we don’t know all the abilities of Angel Marauders, but just the few that have been talked/shown makes Amon a menace to everything in existence... From casually editing Marauder’s sequence details to having a seemingly endless amount of avatars to being able to straight up control bacteria....Like fuuuuuuuuuuu

I still don't quite understand how Amon can avoid the obvious downsides to his habit of massively parasizing all kinds of living beings... Pallez already told us that switching hosts demands a price. Parasizing creatures of lower order (like microbes) will easily lead to losing your mind (that lady demigod's rat is vastly superior in every aspect to microbes or even insects and she still lost herself). So how does Amon manage? Sure, he is a seq1 King of Angels, but basic rules should still Apply, right? He probably wouldn't mind losing a few parasites or even a few hundred... But just the short lifespan of lower lifeforms should kill off most of these parasites within days. Why does this frequent switching of hosts not weaken Amon significantly? This can't be explained just with adding a few new marauder characteristics anymore... Afterall, those are already very rare in the world.
