I imagine that marionettist is more about remaining in hiding and letting your puppet be the "main actor" so more like he would be the Watson to his marionette's Sherlock.

However I don't think he'll go back to Sherlock any time soon more likely he will assume a new identity because Sherlock acted as a "Magician" so he'll have to change too many mannerisms to properly act as his new sequence, best to start fresh with a new persona.
我想象了一下秘偶大师的做法，应该保持潜伏，让秘偶作为“主角”出动做事，所以这样一来应该他自己扮演华生，他的秘偶是夏洛克。
然而我不觉得他会用夏洛克的身份回去，更有可能是再捏一个新身份，因为夏洛克是作为“魔术师”扮演的，所以他就不得不改变大部分的扮演法则，来适应他的新序列，最好还是直接重新开始，用个新身份。
