“Hello, man. You must be lost, aren't you? Don't worry, I will help you find your way back, alright?"
That last part did not come out as reassuring as he intended. But the man did not seem bothered by it. He offered a hand to grab his hand before pulling him close to the large stone pillar.
“你好,男人。你一定是迷路了，是吗?别担心，我会帮你找到回去的路，好吗?”

"Here is where we need to go now."
As if someone had flipped a switch, the world began to shake. Suddenly he found himself on another level of his dreamland. This time, there was nothing familiar to orient himself around. The surroundings looked just as unfamiliar and mysterious. What happened earlier was not real either.
“这就是我们现在要去的地方。”
就像有人按下了开关，世界开始颤抖。突然，他发现自己进入了另一层梦境。这一次，没有熟悉的东西让他熟悉。周围的环境看起来既陌生又神秘。之前发生的事也不是真的。
If so, then he should stop dreaming about it at some point. And, yet, he continued doing it anyway.
