Chapter Four(17)
Wasn’t her supposed to be tired then? But she wasn’t......was she? A cloud of weariness suddenly bleared her thoughts, and she remembered feeling confused, as she was sure that she was far from sleepy a moment ago.
Had her thoughts triggered the sleep button in her mind? Or......because of something else entirely. She couldn’t think. Her eyes were closing, almost against her will, and her last memory before sinking into sleep was stumbling over to the bed, and through her hazy eyesight, she saw Will walk through the mirror, and vanish.
Cecilia watched herself sinking into unconsciousness, but unlike her memory self she was not sleepy at all, and she noticed, coolly, that Will didn’t look surprised at all at the sudden turn of events. He was still bearing the same expression as when he studied the mirror, his polite but distant glance resting upon the girl with neglegance as he stepped through the veil——
And Cecy’s vision turned abruptly into dreams, and everything went black.
