"Miss Lora, you are too humble to say so. In my eyes, time didn't have the power on you. You look exactly the same when i left. Not the same......more charming actually."
The woman laughed again, seeming really satisfied with his compliments. The young waiter was going to carry on but the three men who chatted besides the door before came to greet the woman.
"Miss Lora, it's always a pleasant scene to see you in that lovely red dress with two giant dogs on the street. I cannot imagine without you what a boring town would it be. I refuse to survive in that hell." The tall man smiled playfully and put his lips on Lora's diamond ring. As David expected, the whole bar was full of Lora's high-pitched laughs again. Woman, woman. David sipped at his beer and watched the woman called "Lora". She looked in her mid-thirties, with pale brown eyes and eyebrows. Her round face would have made her look childish if she didn't put heavy make-up on it. David noticed when she talked to someone, she subconsciously touched their arms or shoulders, more out of habit. And her eyes seemed often looking for something and from time to time, she gave the speaker meaningful smiles which unsettled David the most. Woman, woman.
