Chapter 2 Paradise town(5)

Then David heard the engine sound and all the three men stopped chatting. Dogs' barks were pretty loud from the outside too.
David saw the young waiter who casually read a book besides the bar just a moment ago rise alertly to the sound. With quick steps, he was near the half-closed right bar door. When the waiter opened it, David heard quite a few high-pitched woman's laughs firstly. 
"Oh my dearie, it's been a long time." The woman forced her voice be sweet and exuberant but more like a horn out of tune. She kissed the young waiter's cheeks and put her hands on his shoulders, "Look, our little boy has grown into a handsome young man. How many years? I must look really old now. Sometimes I wish i could stop the time."
