申请大学 - 新加坡国立大学（国大）法律系(2)

然后我就把法律改成了我的国大第一志愿。
所以你可以看到，我对法律原本没有太多兴趣。我的大学申报方向是理工科。但我之前在英华辩论社里接触了不少法律内容，现在也一直关注着社会热点，也不算完全没有准备了。国大法律我真的算是买张彩票看看有没有奖。

二、面试准备
学姐：
看了两本相关的入门书，牛津通识的法学论和法律介绍。个人对jurisprudence 的各种theories挺感兴趣，Marxist reading, natural law (by Hobbes) 和King Rex’s principles of ‘law’等等都各具特色。除此之外也看了一些新加坡本地新闻，尤其是Covid-19相关的政府政策。猜题是政府的special measures regarding contract law，to make allowances for delay of rent payment (i.e. inability to honour contractual obligations) due to the pandemic in order to protect business confidence and maintain liquidity. 我本身对合同法也很感兴趣，尤其是海峡时报上关于新加坡政府的决策分析很有意思。

1. Regarding the sanctity of contracts which underline SG’s commitment to trust as a principle for business; 2. The principle’s conflict with the sudden external pressure and the economic prospects/interests. 最有趣的理论就是关于reasonable control & prediction (of foreseeable changes) by renters（具体的不展开说了，有兴趣的可以去查）。
