Chapter 9 A Ghost on The Road (I)(5)
Everything went well with me. The petiton cases were handled promptly and effectively, and the petitioner were also convinced of our review conclusions. Having finished some writing materials, we decided to return to the provincial capital the next morning. Master’s work and rest habits are very good. He goes to bed early and gets up early. But it’s bitter for our young people who like to stay up late reading and playing games. At 6:30 the next morning, Master knocked on the door and said that he would rush back to the bureau for a meeting.
I drowned in the car back to the provincial capital. Early in the morning, there weren’t many cars on the road, but on the way to the suburbs, we found a police car with flashing lights parked by the roadside. Two traffic policemen were squatting on the ground to examine a man lying on the ground.
“Park the car.” Master instructed the driver.
Master and I got off the car and heard a traffic policeman calling 120, “A traffic accident victim across from the fertilizer factory on the southeast suburban road, and he still has breath. Please come as soon as possible.”
