 “We know that falls are distinguished from direct strike injuries, mainly depend on contrecoup injury. Contrecoup injury refers to the contusion of the contralateral cortex along the direction of the force impacting on the head, such as the occipital collision, where the frontal cortex contusion occurred, while the forehead scalp and skull were not damaged. Contrecoup injury is generally seen in the sudden deceleration movement of the head, which occured by external forces impacting on the head in motion.
