Chapter 7 The Big-Eyed Boy (II)(11)
I took my gloves from the investigation box and put them on. I began to help Louis examine little Harry’s hands. We all knew that in homicide cases, the hands of the deceased often bring some information or evidence, and sometimes even become the basis for a final decision
At that time, little Harry’s corpse was very stiff, and it took me a lot of effort to open his hands. Suddenly, I found some abnormal phenomena.
On little Harry’s right palm, I found a stiff thorn like embroidery needle. Most of the stiff thorn was inserted into little Harry’s skin.
We used hemostatic forceps to pull out the stiff thorn. After careful observation, Louis and I said in unison, “Bamboo!”
However, there was no bamboo on the site, and there should be no bamboo in the pond. More importantly, the vital reaction was not very obvious. That is to say, when the bamboo pierced little Harry’s palm, he was close to death.
