The second floor was simply laid out, with a small bed beside an old desk. So the old man lay quietly in bed. I watched from a distance for a while and found that the old man did not breathe.
Mr. Herman was still most concerned about how the criminal entered the scene. He went to the open window and carefully observed the height of the window, the height from the roof and the marks on the window frame.
I looked around the corpose. There was a bloodstain on the bedside floor. There were two small pools of blood on the pillow near the head of the deceased, and a small pool of vomit on the mouth of the deceased’s body.
