Mr. Herman and I waited patiently outside the scene. Ten minutes later, the inspector shouted inside, “There is only one kind of shoe print and fingerpringts on the ladder. They are all extracted and fixed. If the deceased can be rule out, the perpetrator can only enter through the window.”
Mr. Herman and I immediately put on masks, gloves, shoes and hats, then walked along the exploration pedal to the ladder.
This is a dilapidated ladder, which has been in existence for some years and seems likely to collapse at any time. There is a hole in the second floor, which is a passageway between the first floor and the second floor. The ladder is next to the hole.
“Go up.” Mr. Herman took the lead in climbing up. I followed Mr. Herman and slowly climbed to the second floor.
