Mermaiding Mishap[12P] by WaveLens,chef-cheir(11)
As she stares uselessly at the distant floor, the girl does not notice a shadow appearing above her. A shadow belonging to someone who might make her rethink about the gasps of water having been pointless...
P9--- 9: Calmness is the Key ---
The girl approaching was Aya. Not someone Mi'ara had met before but someone who naturally would help anyone in need. However it did not seem like she was intending to rescue her just by pulling her up towards the surface. Maybe that was because she was certainly low on air herself - the mildly purple tint on her otherwise bright face indicated that - but she was much calmer than one would expect for such a situation if that were the case. Aya had a few tricks up her sleeve and when encountering Mi'ara who just judging by her outfit, seemed a true fellow fan of the sea, she decided to teach her a bit.
For a moment it seemed like her presence made it worse for the Hawaiian though because someone floating in front of her at this depth surely was the last thing she had expected. As a result she gasped on the water once more and her position cramped at first while she starred at Aya with glassy eyes. Nevertheless her shudders had ceased at least and it might not have been just because of the final stage of oxygen deprivation.
