Another loud bang and the M48 was propelled backward an inch. Smoke somehow protruding from the engine block despite being hit, the white flag of the Challenger didn't popped up. 
The Challenger also fired, one shot completely missing and kicking up dirt, the second scraping the paint on the amour, it is a miracle that the M48 was still moveable. Just as the Challenger was about to climb over the hill, it slipped and fall out on one side, with the barrel pointing to the ground, the tank was up-side down and unable to move. Twining didn’t see them and kept following.
