We were called "One Ls," and there were 800 of us who came on the third of September to begin our careers in knowledge learning. It is not the first time that I come to Britain, and definitely not the last time. For the first several days we would have to arrive at the university by ourselves while we underwent a brief orientation and and some preliminary instruction. Then, over the weekend, the upper–year students would arrive, and on Monday all classes would officially commence.
