A cat came across the street

A cat comes across the street 
slow and happy
The moon hangs on the tree 
round and lovely
Birthday party is holding by the river 
little but noisy
You stay in the shadow
silent but pretty
I want to hold your hand 
tightly and firmly
You pretend not to hear me 
run and flee
It begins to rain
suddenly and heavily
Everyone cries and disperses away
