The first day was so busy when I came back to Forensic Clinic, the office phone rang within five minutes when I set foot in the gate.
“One inhabitant in New Green Community was suddenly dead last night, please come to help.” The phone was from the located police station.
“Is there any situation on the prophase investigation?” Steven asked.
“Nothing, the scene of death is closed, the decedent should be sudden death.” The policeman answered not so seriously, obviously such an unnatural death incident was not brought to attention.
This community was close to the Forensic Clinic, very soon we got there.
The site was located at the fifth floor of a building, it was a two-bedroom unit with one family, a couple with their child. The husband was feeble and sick, a laid-off worker, worked at an individual workshop regularly. His wife, the decedent, was stalwart and positively gross, with no job. The only source of income to her was picking up some waste. The family earnings were so poor, which could only enough to maintain the livelihood. They had a seven-year-old boy who was very cute.
When we got the site, we didn’t see any strict protective measures taken at the death scene. Officer Guo, a technician of mark inspection, was checking the door lock. Two policemen, the husband and his son, they were sitting at the living room. The husband was wiping the tears and mumbing “Why did you just leave? What should we do?” The boy stood aside, with a pallid face and more terrified feelings, instead of sadness. He was too young to feel sorrow of losing his mother.
