Her sad expression changed into a small grin. “You don’t think we are really from the Ancient Greek, do you? Of course we know how to use the internet and technologies, I’m a hundred percent modern teenage girl! I’ve only joined the camp since last year, before that I lived into the mortal world, just like you! ”
That surprised me out, I used to thought she was born in that camp and lived there her whole life. Now she told me she used to have a normal life, I started to get curious about her. “So where did you live before going to the camp? ”I asked.
Her face turned cold and still. There was silence for a while, and she turned away facing the window.
“Sorry. ”I said, giving my self a note not to ask this thing again.
She gazed at the clouds flying past our plane, her eyes were getting red. After a quiet moment, she turned back. “No……it’s just, I used to live in the UK, with my mom, my uncle and my cousin, Mathew Williams. Then when I was six, my mom, well, she died. Because of terrorists. Mathew moved away to Canada. And all of a sudden, I was all by myself. ”
