The Riddle of Escape
It's a cold winter morning as usual. On my way to school, I look at the sky with a lot of clouds covering the sun. I don't know why but I just can't say calm and I don't feel like going to school at all.
Just before the English class, I suddenly realize that I have forgotten to recite the text, but it's too late. Before I could do anything, my English teacher has already come into the classroom, looking very furious and shutting the door hard. He says nothing but staring at everyone in the classroom. The classroom is so silent that I bet you can even hear the nervous breaths. When I'm begging wholeheartedly that he could ignore me, he suddenly turns to me and hits the table.
"Alan! You haven't recited the text for several weeks! I have given you many chances, but this time, you still fail to recite the text. Don't let me see you again inside the classroom until you have recited all of them completely without a mistake!"
I stand up, walk out of the room with my English book at once, feeling very ashamed of myself, sighing and lowering my head.
