Thursday arrived with bleary eyes and a groan. Ajax’s alarm was cut off with a few taps of his phone and he rolled over onto his back. Not even an hour of sleep total in the entire night. Three days now and he was running on so few hours that his vision was getting blurry. Yet he couldn’t best it. Sleep wouldn’t come, no matter how much he wanted. Past mistakes would swim in his mind, haunting, plaguing him without mercy. Every time he messed up, every small what if moment.

If he was going to talk to her tonight at the gym when he took Tonia to class, he needed something.
