Tohru knocked on the door and Uncle turned his head aside.
“Tohru!”
“Mommy!”
“Are those all travelers you are with? Or your colleagues at Valmont’s? Oh, what a competent young man! What a cute girl! What a cute boy! And…an ugly Billy Goat!”

“Aiiee-yaahh! You dare call Uncle the Billy Goat! You the Madame Tarantul!”
Uncle broke into Tohru’s mother’s room. They fought with each other with brooms.
“Mom, Uncle, don’t do that.” Tohru went to drag them apart.
“Oh, my good boy, mom surprised you. You work at Valmont’s and I am so proud of you!” Tohru’s mother said.
“Tell you the truth, your son has jumped ship. Now he is my magic apprentice!”
