“Aiiee-yaahh! Uncle had said Hsi Wu must go to reconstruct his kingdom.”
“Well, El Toro. We have known this. Uncle and Tohru are studying the magic to defeat the demon.”
Jade heard the dialogue in the study, feeling extremely sad. Hsi Wu’s cooperation and gentleness had been thoroughly fake for so long. She hated Hsi Wu’s deception and also hated her naive idea that a demon would be kind. However, there was still the last faint hope in her heart that everything she heard and saw was an illusion.

“Uncle’s magic is done!” Uncle said, pointing at the reel soaked in garlic solution.
“But sensei, we can’t make sure it’s effective,” Tohru said.
“No problem. It’s better than none and Uncle still has the flute.” Uncle had not known that Hsi Wu had cracked the injury the flute would bring to him.
“Then we’d go to Spain now,” Jackie said.
“I won’t go.” Jade was not as usual.
