I don't know of people hating on especially those characters, who are especially popular. I think this guy was the first one I came across who seems to dislike Evernight with no basis. Have ya seen the comments? Amon and Susie are among the most popular characters

After reading next chapters now I know what you mean about his comments, Indeed accusing someone without evidence is not very nice and polite act.To be honest, I don't have a good feeling about Evernight goddess and "She" will most likely try to kill Klein after becoming a great old one, anyway, that's something I feel based on her scheming character, however there are many variables affecting Klein's journey so it's not possible to be certain about any conclusion without more information.
