But can a book even wear a monocle? It doesn't have eyes so maybe Amon can paste a pair of googly eyes on the cover and make the right one have a monocle.

I actually believe Amon's pathway and his level would be a great counter for this book of Rules. In fact, since the book is still "awakening" and hasn't fully come alive, Amon would definitely get the one up over this book.
