Hmm Elder Lovia still seems to be loyal to Silver City and if she is crazy it seems controlled craziness. I'm leaning towards the theory that she may have eaten her husband because he was loosing controll, getting consumed by the curse or was on verge of death as opposed to her just being crazy and worshipping an evil god.
