The Skyline Chapter Two(Part 4)(2)
When we walked inside, the interior is very different to APEX which have the common skyscraper structure. The only annoying factor is the amount of people stuck in this small amount of space. Adults stopped in front of cosmetics shops and beverage stores made the traffic even more hard to move. Some of them looked this way and focused on us for a few moments and turned away to other entertaining stuffs. All around, there are only adults here in Sector Five. We looked quite distinct from the others. However, an advantage we have personally of being taller than most of the students in our Sector and gender helped us attract less gazes.
“Hey, wanna play Counter Strike or something,” Stella called within the crowd.
“Sure! You know where?” I called back.
“Yeah,” she pushed through the crowd and pulled me after her when she gets to me.
I found people looking amusingly, and found Stella holding my hand. That realization made me almost dashed out of the complex and run away. I made an involuntary struggle to release my hand out of hers, but she continued to hold on. Under the gaze, I blushed hard, even though I don’t know how Stella seemed to remain unnoticed of this. I sped up and catch up to her, walking side by side with her; although my legs felt weak and my head is spinning, I still kept up. Now I looked at her, I saw her looking at the ground in front of her, or her invisible controls. I see her smiling a bit, as in the kind of one would when day dreaming or imagining things.
